AWA, a Stockholm born singer/songwriter, emerged in 2012 at the age of 15 as the first winner of Sweden's The X Factor, before taking a five year break to find her sound while studying economic entrepreneurship at college.

After signing to Columbia Records in 2019, she released her debut single F**kin’ Love Songs (feat. Ebenezer), which premiered with Julie Adenuga on Beats 1 and was named Yasmin Evans’s Track of the Week on BBC Radio 1Xtra. A VEVO Artists to Watch for 2020 and MTV PUSH 2021 nominee, the 23 year old musician released her debut EP cry.baby last year, and recently featured on the hit Jonas Blue track, Something Stupid, appearing in an accompanying music video shot by renowned photographer Rankin.
